Waking up at 4-ish in the morning is very rare (and pretty crazy) for me. Yet I've done it twice this month, one of which happened today to see the torch relay in Stanley Park.

There are so many points to see the relay. Why Stanley Park? Well, it's all becuz Arnie is flying from California to be one of the many torch bearers on this final day of counting down.

After a bit of speed walking and running, we got there in time, but didn't go far enough into the park. So we didn't see the former superstar/current Cali. Governor. Tho we did see him leaving the area in a car.

So who did I see? London 2012 CEO Seb Coe. And of course the friendly cheering crowd as well as the police and working staff.

Thanks to The official website, here's a pic of Arnold Schwarzenegger passing the flame to Sebestian Coe.

I heard it's the longest domestic relay route ever. Apparently it's bringing Canadians together across the country. With so much energy so many glowing hearts, it's just amazing to be out there.

As to who's going to be the final torch bearer to light the Olympic cauldron in BC Place? Will it be Wayne Gretzky? Michael J Fox? Betty Fox, mother of Terry Fox? Or Trevor Linden? They're keeping it a secret. We can only wait till tonight.

Go Canada Go!

And wishing everyone a happy and prosperous year of tiger on the other side of the ocean.

Cheers!
